Terms and Conditions
Please read the following “Terms & Conditions” carefully before placing your order with My Sweet Dreams. This agreement is hereby entered into between My Sweet Dreams and you (hereinafter referred to as “Client”).
My Sweet Dreams reserves the right to make changes to the Terms & Conditions without notice at any time.
It is the “Client’s” responsibility to inform their guests that traces of nuts may be present in our products. My Sweet Dreams will not be held responsible for anyone suffering from allergies.
Non edible items may be used as decorations on our products such as ribbons and skewers. It is the “Client’s” responsibility to ensure that any non-edible items and dowels are removed prior to consumption.
Changes to Order:
All order changes are to be in writing. Minor changes to design may be accepted after a deposit has been placed. Major changes, including design or change of flavours, may result in a re-quote and additional charges. No changes will be accepted 21 business days prior to the event.
My Sweet Dreams reserves the right to make any minor alterations of the design if we deem necessary. Our creations are all custom handmade and no two designs, even if produced by the same artist, are identical. If you do not provide a colour or design sample for matching, we will determine the design / colour based on our understanding on what you have requested on your order. My Sweet Dreams will not be held responsible for fading or strengthening of icing colours due to circumstances that are out of our control.
All our cookie products are handmade. Cookie colours and design may vary slightly.
Once a quote has been accepted, and details confirmed, an order will be issued so that a deposit may be placed.
A 50% deposit will be required to secure all custom orders within 7 days of the order being issued.
Failure of a deposit within this period will result in a cancellation, and the date released back to the general public.
Orders/dates are not secure unless a deposit has been placed.
Last minute orders with less than 7 business days ahead of the event, will require payment in full upon booking.
Deposits are strictly non refundable.
Cancellations & Refunds:
Strictly no refunds on cancellations or change of mind.
A cancellation, no matter the circumstance, will result in the loss of a deposit that has been paid to secure an order.
If a cancellation occurs within 14 business days or less to an event, the full amount paid to My Sweet Dreams will be forfeited.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, and My Sweet Dreams is unable to complete an order due to, but not limited to illness, injury or bereavement, My sweet Dreams reserves the right to cancel and issue the "Client" with a full refund.
Credit card surcharge:
A 2.7% surcharge applies to all custom orders processed via Paypal, or 1.5% charge for payments made with square.
Photos & Testimonial Usage:
We reserve the right to use any testimonials or photos we take of your creation for media related activities such as our website, Facebook, Instagram or advertising.
Copy of any My Sweet Dreams photo’s for use on another media source will need to be approved by My Sweet Dreams. Please submit in writing your intention of use of the photo.
